St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church is located at 845 W. Main St. in West Dundee. St. Mary Church is located at Matteson Street and Galligan Road in Gilberts.

St. Catherine of Siena was a third-order Dominican, peacemaker and advisor to the Pope. She singlehandedly ended the Avignon exile of the successor of St. Peter in the 14th Century.

If you answered 2020, I’ll give half credit. The year I have in mind was also the birth year of the saint and doctor of the Church whose feast day is April 29 — St. Catherine of Siena.
