The idea for the sketch came from my wife. She said to me, “You should write a ‘Celebrity Jeopardy!’ sketch, because these celebrities don’t know that much.” So I took it to Adam McKay.

Celebrity Jeopardy! follows the same format as regular Jeopardy! but instead, the contestants are celebrities. This format is a bit shorter, with 13 episodes and 27 celebrities competing.
