Trump’s massive tax-and-spending bill is headed to his desk, packed with cuts to Medicaid and boosts for the wealthy.

Louisiana leaders are speaking out after President Donald Trump’s “big, beautiful bill” passed in the House Thursday.

The Medicaid work requirement would apply to people in 40 states who are enrolled through expanded access that states agreed to put in place since 2014.
