One person is dead and two others were injured in a three-vehicle crash Sunday on Route 9 at Wellington Drive in Chesterfield, New Hampshire State Police said.

One sign is located in front of the township's municipal building on Route 9 North across from the ShopRite, only a couple of miles north of the Lakewood boundary.

State police say the crash occurred on route 9 northbound in the area of exit 37. Possible injuries were reported. The Department of Transportation is also responding after a sign was damaged.
