A 22-year-old Farmington woman died Sunday after her vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic on Route 9 in Chesterfield, causing a three-car crash that injured two others, State Police said.
A car was traveling southbound on Route 8 in the left lane then continued to the Exit 9 entrance ramp. The vehicle then struck an individual that was in the road for an unknown reason.

The crash happened on Route 8 North near exit 7 around 9:53 a.m. State police said one person was transported to be treated for serious injuries. No additional information was immediately available.
