There’s now a new reason to visit the Cape May County Zoo — to get a glimpse of the newest addition, a baby ring-tailed lemur. The unnamed lemur was born on March 13 to parents Felana and Darwin.

Cape May County Park & Zoo opened in 1978 with just a few animals, but grew and gained national renown in 2010, with a successful snow leopard breeding program that produced multiple cubs.

It may be nine months before it hosts the next annual Burrowing Owl Festival, but Rotary Park offers plenty of ways to celebrate wildlife and nature within its 97 acres on a daily basis.
