American River Parkway's Sailor Bar road to reopen to vehicles next week 02:07. FAIR OAKS — People are speaking out about plans to let vehicles drive through parts of the American River Parkway.

Old Fall River Road inside Rocky Mountain National Park is closed to all uses Tuesdays through Fridays between the hours of 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for spring opening road maintenance.

River Road will be closed while crews replace a railroad crossing near Edith Road and Frankfort Avenue Saturday and Sunday, Metro Public Works said in a statement.
