In May 2024, Host Hotels & Resorts, the largest U.S. lodging REIT, acquired Turtle Bay Resort. It was rebranded The Ritz-Carlton Oahu, Turtle Bay on July 31, 2024.

After changing ownership last year, Turtle Bay Resort on Oahu’s North Shore has operated under the Ritz-Carlton brand for nearly a year with a new name: the Ritz-Carlton Oahu, Turtle Bay.
