A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following an incident on Roker Avenue in Sunderland yesterday.

Adam Ahmed of Roker Avenue in Sunderland will appear at South Tyneside Magistrates Court today (June 23) following an incident over the weekend.

Police and paramedics were called to a home shortly after 4.40pm on Roker Avenue on the afternoon of Friday 21 June following reports of a disturbance.
