The new high-energy racing series "Red Bull Soapbox Race," follows daredevil engineers as they race against their fellow competitors on a half-mile course complete with distinct challenges.

The race, which has taken place all over the world, is coming back to Des Moines for 2025. Caleb Knutson is the captain the the Row Busters, one of more than 30 Iowa teams participating in the race.

Red Bull, which debuted its derby in 2000, announced in February that it would bring the zany event to Utah for the first time, as it named Salt Lake City as one of three U.S. host cities for 2025.
