Panthers running back Rashaad Penny has apparently decided to retire at the age of 28. Penny was placed on the reserve/retired list Tuesday morning, via Darin Gantt of Panthers.com.

Rashaad Penny signed with the Panthers this offseason in hopes of showcasing the playmaking ability he has flashed in the past. He has instead decided to call it a career.
