HANOVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Raccoon Creek State Park announced Thursday that, due to elevated bacteria levels, the beach at the state park is closed for swimming until further notice.

UPDATE: Raccoon Creek State Park officials confirmed on Saturday, July 12, that sample results have shown E. coli levels have dropped to acceptable levels, and swimming can resume there.
