From Moate, Co Westmeath, Colm Murray was a teacher before joining RTÉ as a continuity announcer. He graduated from University College Galway in 1972 with a BA degree in French, English and History.
Since then, Audrey has been delivering National, European and World Forcasts for RTÉ ONE and RTÉ2 television, whilst also lending her dulcet tones to RTÉ2 as a continuity announcer.
Veteran RTÉ broadcaster and presenter Marian Finucane has died suddenly at her home, aged 69. Born in 1950 in Dublin, Marian Finucane was educated at Scoil Chaitríona.
