Severe storms across parts of the U.S. Midwest and South have left at least 27 people dead Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear said Saturday that there were 18 weather-related deaths in his state.

The woman's death was declared a homicide and the man's a suicide. The woman was four months pregnant, according to the Lake County Coroner's Office.
