JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – About 1,700 JEA customers were without power on Sunday night, according to JEA’s power outage map, after a car hit a pole in the Duclay Forest neighborhood.

The power outage wasn't reported until 6:30 a.m. Duke Energy estimates power to be restored by 9:45 a.m. (Crash on Brooks Ave. in Raleigh) The pole was broken, causing the lines to hang.
