Police initially attempted to make a traffic stop on the 1200 block of West Center Street, the department said in an updated press release on July 30. The driver fled and hit another vehicle at North Humboldt Avenue and West Brady Street.

A Milwaukee police chase ends in a fatal crash near Humboldt and Brady. The pursuit ended when the driver struck another vehicle. The 28-year-old motorist of the other vehicle sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
