The Hepworth Wakefield announced that two of its long-standing patrons have generously promised to bequeath nearly 100 art works from their private collection to the West Yorkshire gallery.

Scottish scientists, artists and photographers played a huge part in pioneering this new technology, and we have them to thank for a medium we now take for granted.
