Lime Pictures, an All3Media company, has secured a TV option deal with Hachette Children’s Group (HCG) for the Planet Omar book series from Zanib Mian.

What “Strange Planet” hasn’t figured out, however, is how to formally bridge the gap between the concise format of the comics and the more expansive narrative format of a television series.
