HOWLAND The National Transportation Safety Board has issued a preliminary report detailing minute-by-minute what led up to the June 29 plane crash in Howland Township that killed all six people aboard a Cessna 441 aircraft.

A small plane crashed late Wednesday into a building south of Helena Regional Airport, injuring two people. The Helena Fire Department responded to the 3100 block of Bozeman Avenue at 9:51 p.m.

The two pilots who died in a fiery crash outside Colorado’s Montrose Regional Airport had been flying a recently purchased home-kit airplane, officials said.
