Nine-pin is something of a South Texas treasure. According to the Bexar Bowling Society, the Cibolo club is one of 18 remaining 9-pin bowling organizations.

The top 16 or 24, based on entries, will return Sunday at 9 a.m. for the two-game double-elimination finals. The winner is guaranteed $2,000. Call Wayne Garber at 209-524-9161 to sign up.
