Another hot day is in-store for Friday, with many seeing high temperatures in the 90s during the afternoon. Much like the prior day, a small, pop-up storm chance will be with us during the day.

A HEAT ADVISORY is in effect through 10 p.m. Extreme heat and humidity are expected for one more day. Heat index can reach 100-103 degrees this afternoon.

The real relief comes this weekend, when we return to more seasonable temperature and less humidity. Highs will be in the mid-80s, and humidity will still be noticeable but less oppressive.
