The 2025 Chiefs baseball season is a welcome addition to Peoria for players, fans and a new-look downtown ballpark.

The defending champion and No. 1 seed Peoria Rivermen were eliminated from the SPHL playoff semifinals in a Game 2 loss to Evansville on Friday.
