The peace the world offers you is circumstantial. The peace God offers you is complete, consistent, whole, and perfect regardless of what is going on in your life.

But God never intended for us to live in a constant state of anxiety and worry. Finding peace in God when life feels overwhelming isn’t about pretending the hard things aren’t real.

It’s the peace that comes when we align with our Creator God’s heart as we strive to live into his love for us. This is the peace Jesus means for us — a peace to be treasured, tended and shared.

Let us pray that peace will descend there, the peace of which the angels sang that night. In Psalm 96 [95], Israel, and the Church, praises God’s grandeur manifested in creation.
