Following a Super Bowl LIX loss, the Kansas City Chiefs and QB Patrick Mahomes are attempting to return with a vengeance in 2025-26.

During his time with the Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes has led his team to three Super Bowl titles. The Chiefs quarterback has also been named a two-time MVP, two-time All-Pro and six-time Pro Bowler.

Mahomes ranked No. 1 in the league in touchdown passes and No. 7 in yards. The Chiefs quarterback led his team to a 17-3 record, defeating the Houston Texans and the Buffalo Bills in the postseason.

Mahomes is in the middle of gearing up for the 2025 NFL season. After the Chiefs made it to the Super Bowl and lost last year to the Philadelphia Eagles, they're looking to get back to winning rings.

This is why Mahomes only garnered 60 percent of first-place votes this year, per Fowler, after earning all but one vote last year. One voter also ranked Mahomes at No. 4.
