You won’t find as many fight stick options for the PS5 as you will regular controllers, so it’s nice to have another option on the table that you can use your hard-earned money on.

Sony has just unveiled the first wireless fight stick designed by the company itself. It doesn't have an official product name yet, but it's currently codenamed Project Defiant.

While details are currently limited, we at least got a glimpse of the fight stick's design, features, and confirmation that it will support both PS5 and PC when it launches in 2026.

Fortunately, that's about to change; Sony is re-releasing the Astro Bot PS5 pad, with exact details to follow soon. What we do know for now is that the design is slightly altered.
