Back then, the “old” Jasper gym was not so old. It opened officially on Nov. 3, 1939, ironically the same night Leo “Cabby” O’Neill coached his first basketball game at Jasper.

It’s the old school gym. It’s loud, it’s rowdy. The floor is springy as heck. You can hear every fan say everything about every ref. It is so much fun and I’m going to really miss it.
