CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Ohio Department of Natural Resources last year stocked rivers, lakes and other bodies of water in the state with more than 46 million fish, including 11 different species.

Ohio’s six state hatcheries stocked 46 million fish last year. Lead-ing their efforts were 23 million saugeye, a walleye-sauger hybrid, destined for inland lakes and reservoirs.
