A Former Office Tower Goes Big for Residents With 1,320 rental apartments and a host of amenities, 25 Water Street is the country’s largest office-to-residential conversion to date.

Completed last year, the tower offers over 700,000 square feet of office space, six levels of parking, two levels of underground parking and 10,000 square feet of ground-floor retail.

The Tower 180 office tower at 180 Broadway Ave., which was purchased by hotel developer J Street Space in late 2023, is expected to be converted in some fashion, although with a focus on hotel rooms.
