According to Visit Oakland, 3.4 million tourists spent $583 million in 2024, generating a total economic impact of $779 million. It marks a 0.2% decline in spending from the previous year.

JetBlue Airways Corp. is eliminating flights from Long Beach Airport to Oakland and reducing flights out of Long Beach to Sacramento, San Jose and Las Vegas. The changes take effect on April 29.
