SPRINGFIELD — One Illinois Quad-City lawmaker has trust in God and wants those who agree to be able to proclaim their faith through specialty license plates.

We can also rethink how we use license plates and inspection stickers. Emerging digital plate technology could simplify renewals, prevent fraud and provide real-time updates if necessary.

The new agency is set to reopen Tuesday, Feb. 11, at 4891 Long Beach Road, S.E., Unit 6 in Southport. Hours will be Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
