FLORIDA — On Monday, April 8, skywatchers got to witness a rare celestial delight and something that will not be seen again over North American skies for more than 20 years: A total solar eclipse.
From beaches of Presque Isle State Park to vineyards of North East, crowds cheered as the moon obscured the sun and made Erie a hot destination.
Set sail on an extraordinary journey aboard the Douglas Mawson, a state-of-the-art expedition ship, to witness the longest total solar eclipse left this century which takes place on 2 August 2027.
