Netflix’s Sandman has always been unapologetically abstract, poetic, and deeply rooted in Neil Gaiman’s literary mythology.

Gaiman was also dropped by his longtime comic book publisher, Dark Horse. Now, via Variety, Netflix is ending the popular show The Sandman with Season 2.
