NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Two-time Daytona 500 winner Michael Waltrip has joined the ownership group of the Nashville Kats, a founding franchise of the Arena Football 1 league.

The Nashville Kats will call Clarksville's F&M Bank Arena their home for the 2025 Arena Football One playoffs.

The Kats played their final regular season game last Saturday in Clarksville, as had been scheduled all along, defeating Corpus Christi 80-18 to clinch a playoff contest.

Nashville Kats president Jeff Fisher said the Arena Football One team is exploring Clarksville's F&M Bank Arena as home for 2026 games.
