Invest 97L, an area of low pressure associated with tropical wave now has a high probability of developing next week.

The National Weather Service issued a flood watch for most of southern Wisconsin on Aug. 9 through the morning of Aug. 11.

Invest 97L is now in the Atlantic joining Invest 96L and NHC forecasters said if development comes it'll be next week.

Invest 97L so far has a medium chance of developing into a named storm next week, National Hurricane Center forecasters said.

Invest 96L showed some signs of "collapsed" shower activity, but still has a chance to develop sometime next week, NHC forecasters said.
