Netflix is saddling up to take a ride with My Little Pony. The streamer has struck a deal with Entertainment One for worldwide rights to Hasbro’s family film (eOne is Hasbro-owned).

A new CG animated My Little Pony movie will be released by Netflix in the fall. In addition, a new series based on the hugely popular toyline is on the way from the streaming giant.

That sounds nice. 2017’s “My Little Pony: The Movie,” which was distributed by Lionsgate, grossed $60 million at the worldwide box office against a $6.5 million budget.
