A new exhibit at the Concord Museum in Concord, Massachusetts shows what everyday life was like in the 18th century as part of the state's 250th anniversary celebration of the American Revolution.

The museum is bringing back its annual "Institute of Ice" event on Feb. 6, putting ice and art on display in its courtyard through nine ice sculptures inspired by the museum's exhibitions.

And with those dates in the not-too-distant future we can finally think about warmer days and balmy breezes. Concord Museum is preparing for the country’s 250th birthday with a new exhibit.

Also in Concord, “Object Lessons” opens today and is on view through Aug. 10 at Concord Art, 37 Lexington Road, near Concord Center.
