J.T. Whitaker, the offensive coordinator for Brownsburg’s Class 6A state championship team, was officially approved as the new Warren Central coach.

Putnam City junior linebacker Dejon Ackerson Jr. announced his commitment to Kansas State on Friday. Listed at 6-foot-1 and 195 pounds, Ackerson chose the Wildcats over Oklahoma State and Tulsa.
