A Texas city is among the most family-friendly in the country. But it's not Austin, or Dallas, or San Antonio. The average American moves nearly 12 times in a lifetime, according to U.S. Census data.

"Frisco, Texas, is the nation’s most affordable, fastest-growing city," it proclaimed in the findings. "Within a five-year span, the population has increased by 26.9 percent.
