(WJAR) — Firefighters responded to a two-alarm fire in Seekonk on Thursday morning. The incident took place at an apartment complex on Springhouse Trail.

By the time fire crews responded to the Independence Hotel Tap, 23665 Adams St., at about 5:50 a.m., the building was fully engulfed, said Dan Kampa, Independence Fire Department chief.

A large fire destroyed a 125-year-old building in downtown Kernersville that housed the Caudill Electric Co.It is a total loss.
