GOFFSTOWN — On what is now Center Street and Henry Bridge Road, 43 men mustered on April 20, 1775, before leaving New Hampshire to fight in the American Revolution.

The two-sided monument contains 26 diverse women, as well as objects of nature such as birds and flowers. The monument is 16 feet wide, 12 feet high, 4 inches thick and weighs 3,000 pounds.
