A historic Minneapolis train station found a new life as a hotel. Nearly 25 years ago, the former Milwaukee Road Depot was turned into the Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel, The Depot.

For more than 40 years, the Milwaukee Road railroad operated a passenger train route between Chicago and Omaha, Neb., that crossed Iowa and included a stop in Marion.
