A New York man is in custody for allegedly throwing a one-year-old child down a trash chute.

“I’ve been here for over 20 years ... It’s saddening,” Neighbor Milton Franklin said. It happened at 195 Steuben Street in the Park Hill section of Staten Island.

NEW YORK (WABC) - A New York man is in custody for allegedly throwing his 1-year-old niece down a trash chute. The garbage chute is now a crime scene after the baby girl was tossed inside like trash.
