Mile Square Regional Park users gave Orange County the feedback it was looking for Wednesday night as it plans to repurpose a 93-acre swath of the Fountain Valley park that is currently a golf course.

Around that time, the county and Mile Square Golf Course LP agreed to a 40-year lease that the county believes is no longer sustainable given what it calls the declining state of the golf industry.
