Turns out, Warner Bros. Discovery thinks HBO has some pretty good brand equity, after all. This summer, streamer Max will bend the knee and rebrand back to its original name, HBO Max.

After launching as HBO Max in 2020, it was rebranded as Max last month as part of the Warner Bros. Discovery merger. The name isn’t the only thing that has changed over the last few months.
