INDEPENDENCE, Mo. (KCTV) - An old water tower in Independence that was in the process of being dismantled fell the wrong way, toward a home during demolition on Tuesday.

The old water tower at 318 W. Pacific Ave. was pulled down Tuesday, though it didn't go exactly as planned. The tower came down, but it struck a car as it landed. It also narrowly missed a home.
