Taylor Swift says the red scarf in her hit song All Too Well is a 'metaphor.' The 32-year-old pop star released the track and its accompanying 10-minute short film towards the end of 2021.

According to the Grammy winner, the red scarf was always just a metaphor. Swift was at TIFF to promote her 10-minute short-film version of "All Too Well," which stars Sadie Sink and Dylan O'Brien.
