Nigerian music star Ayra Starr has etched her name in the record books, becoming the first female artiste in 16 years to win the Best African Music Act at the 2025 MOBO Awards.

Nigerian singer, Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, aka Ayra Starr, has won the Best International Act at the 2025 MOBO Awards, held at Newcastle’s Utilita Arena, England, on February 18, 2025.
