The South Australian Government has boosted plans for a $1.7 million redevelopment of the Loxton Hotel. The hotel has been granted more than $860,000 from the Riverland Sustainable Futures Fund.

The Loxton Hotel's $2 million upgrade has been unveiled. The redevelopment started in February last year, after the project received more than $850,000 from the Riverland Sustainable Futures Fund.

The main street winds down the hill past the Loxton Hotel/Motel and is characterised by a park in the huge median strip.
