In a tribute to firefighters and aid workers, Brad Paisley, Dawes, Sheryl Crowe, John Legend and Brittany Howard performed "I Love L.A."

"It's often said that in the darkest of times, the best of humanity shines through, and the people of Los Angeles right now are a perfect example of that," said host Trevor Noah, introducing the performance.

The Palisades and Eaton fires, two of the deadliest and most destructive wildfires in California history, reached 100 percent containment more than three weeks after they began.
