The first Loch Ness Monster sighting of 2025 was reported in January when a man visiting Dores Beach in Scotland noticed a large mass underneath the water’s surface—and he provided photo evidence.

An online register lists more than 1,000 total Nessie sightings, created by Mr Campbell, the man behind the Official Loch Ness Monster Fan Club and is available at www.lochnesssightings.com.

There have been nearly 1,160 reported sightings of the creature over the years since it was first reportedly spotted in 564, according to the official Loch Ness Monster Sightings Register.
